Hello! This is my how to hand rear a cockatiel video 🙂
That’s how I do it but I’m sure there are different tecniques that also work just fine so please don’t fight over that!
I’m using such a small box because the birds are very little and don’t walk anyway, plus they need to stay warm and a small cardboard box is good in my experience to give a good aeration.
As they start to walk they’ll get a bigger box and finally an aviary, don’t worry.
I don’t want to encourage this practice, it’s controversial and there’s a lot to say, but people still improvise doing that so that’s just some tips if you find yourself to feed a baby cockatiel.
