Some cockatiels hate water or are scared of taking a bath and showering. A pro-tip to get your cockatiel to be more comfortable with water, and bathe/shower more are giving them steam baths– this is how we got our cockatiels to be comfortable with water and bathing. ofc this is in addition to not forcing them to bathe and also keep offering baths to them because you never know when they might spontaneously want to bathe! Here’s to no more stinky cockatiels (lmao jk)

Holy late comment but thanks for this video. I’m fortunate in that my birds are happy to bathe, but I had one that would only bathe in another’s gross used bathwater (like, c’mon, really?) so this vid is great for helping owners of other “unconventional” fids .
